At Alex Pharmachem, we are fully committed to achieving excellence in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and conduct our activities in the most responsible manner. The importance of EHS is continually stressed and extensively promoted as a part of our corporate culture

Our EHS Policy provides for the creation of a safe and healthy workplace and a clean environment for employees and the community at large. It aims for the highest international standards in plant design, equipment selection, maintenance and operations. The policy is a commitment that we will manufacture our products safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.

The key processes comprise regular safety surveillance, inspections and audits; permit to work system for operational/maintenance safety; fire prevention and protection activities; operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP); disposal activities related to hazardous wastes; and regular monitoring of the environment, internally and also through approved laboratories.

We also engage with the concerned authorities and industry in devising responsible laws, regulations and standards. We have made EHS concerns and practices a necessary factor in appraising our employees. We accord the highest priority to hygiene monitoring at work place and health assessment of all employees at facilities. Our plant and processes are continuously upgraded to improve hygiene and health standards. Necessary training is imparted to employees to enhance their awareness in health and safety related matters.

Our Environment Policy

Alex Pharmachem Private Limited, a global conglomerate, recognizes that effective management of environment impacts is a fundamental part of our business. Monitor, measure, report the progress, performance of environmental conservation and management initiatives in compliance with internationally recognized protocols and communicate approach and achievements to relevant stakeholders.

BEIL Infrastructure Limited

All solid waste disposal of Alex Pharmachem Private Limited is handled by BEIL.

BEIL has set up and operates Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal facility at Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India since 1998 on Design, Finance, Build own and operate basis.

Since, 1998, BEIL has developed Centralized Secured Landfill facility at Ankleshwar GIDC, Gujarat so far it has collected and disposed 4.7 Million MT of Solid Hazardous Waste and disposed in 70 acres Plot area.

First hazardous waste management facility in india to be conferred under ISO 14001-2015, 5-S, and ISO 45001-2018 Certifications.

BEIL serving more than 1800 Industries to dispose their Hazardous Waste in secured landfill facility and common incineration system.

Enviro Technology Limited

All primary treated effluent of Alex Pharmachem Private Limited is handled by ETL.

Enviro Technology Limited is operating a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for more than 350 small scale industries located in the GIDC Industrial Estate of Ankleshwar. Raw effluent received from the member industries is treated, both chemically as well as biologically in primary, secondary and tertiary units at CETP. The process of effluent treatment is a continuous one.

ETL, Analytical Laboratory is fully equipped for water & waste water analysis. Qualified & Competent analysts are available for characterization & treatability study of industrial effluent. ETL, Analytical laboratory is accredited by NABL (ISO:17025 : 2005) for testing of various parameters in water & waste water samples. First CETP plant in INDIA getting certified under Environment Management System standard ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
